Evaluation and Certification

The Evaluation is based on a combination of Ongoing Evaluation and Final Exam.

(A) Ongoing Evaluation (400 points) – during Course Completion

Course participants will be required to submit answers to questions in the lessons and questions in the case studies via email to “emba@gsbx.org” (with pre-defined subject, like: “Case Study 4 – Answers” or “Lesson 49 – Answers”). The evaluation will be based on timely answers and quality of answers.

(B) Final Exam (100 points) – after Course Completion

There will be an objective exam/quiz (100 multiple choice questions, with one or more correct answers) at the end of the course to assess your understanding of the various lessons covered. There will be 100 objective questions in this exam (MCQ Test).

Total Evaluation = (A) + (B) = 500 points.

As you can clearly see, Onoing Evaluation is 80% of the total score with 400 points. This is intentional. Persistance beats Briilliance every time in the real world – and our evaluation system reflects this real life reality, because ongoing effort is needed for any success in business and professional life. One time exams can measure your level of knowledge, but regular effort and persistence have much higher weightage.

80% Score Needed for Certification.

Minimum 400 points (out of total 500 ponts) will be needed for getting a Certification. The GSBX EMBA course is designed in such a way that Certification is impossible without regular effort and a high score in Ongoing Evaluation.

Our Core Philosophy: Persistence Beats Brilliance

You might wonder: Why is the ongoing coursework worth 80% of my grade while the final exam is only 20%?

Because that is how the real world works. In business, an exceptional flash of brilliance or a high score on a one-time test rarely guarantees long-term success. The market does not care if you can cram information overnight. The market rewards the entrepreneur who builds a financial budget week after week, the manager who consistently optimizes the sales funnel, and the executive who relentlessly monitors operational risks. The market value consistent effort.

Persistence beats brilliance every single time. One-time exams can measure your theoretical knowledge, but regular, disciplined effort is what creates professional leverage. Our grading system deliberately mirrors the demands of actual business operations.

80% Threshold: A Certificate That Means Something

Because of this structure, a GSBX EMBA certification is earned, never bought.

To graduate and receive your formal certification, you must score a minimum of 400 out of 500 total points (an 80% benchmark).

Because the Ongoing Evaluation holds a massive 400-point weight, it is mathematically impossible to pass this course without consistently putting in the work week after week. If you do not submit good-quality answers to the lessons and case studies, you cannot graduate.

This uncompromising rigor is exactly why employers can trust a GSBX EMBA Certificate.

Course Duration

We believe that it will take 3-6 months for most students to complete the course in a proper way. Final Exam can be taken only after Ongoing Evaluation is completed, which can be anytime after 3 months of joining the course, whenever you are ready. We believe that most students can complete this course in about 6 months, depending on their work schedule.

Important Note: Daily effort will be needed to complete the course. The course evaluation is designed to reward regular effort. Students looking for shortcuts or certification without effort are strongly discouraged from joining this course, because they will not get the certification without successful course completion.

Curriculum

The GSBX Online Business Course (EMBA) has 120+ Lessons and 10 Case Studies — to help you become a better Business Manager or Executive or Founder or Entrepreneur —  to better understand, start, operate, and invest in any type of business.

  • The course includes various business lessons collected over last 400 years from real-life experiences of hundreds of businesses.
  • The course covers many red flags or points of caution, which can help you reduce critical mistakes, thereby saving you precious time and capital, and helping you increase sales as early as possible.
  • The course will enable you to take better decisions in difficult situations because you would gain 360-degree view of various business functions.

Therefore, people with all educational backgrounds can benefit from this course. With the focus on business plan, financials, and contracts, this course will be especially useful to you if you are a recent graduate looking to grow your career, or if you want to do a startup yourself, or join a startup or early stage venture.

GSBX Advantage

The big advantage of GSBX online business course is that you can witness a wide range of business situations, and use the learning that is being given to you over the various lessons on our website for students, to use the lessons and to participate in the live case studies, including assessing live business situations — like New product launches, M&A activities, Regulatory actions and Business lawsuits — as they unfold in real life.

Case Studies: There are 10 Case Studies in the course, in addition to 120+ lessons. These Case Studies will help you to apply your learning, and we have carefully created the case studies to reflect a wide range of difficult business problems/challenges/situations – which can test your learning and assess your tolerance for risk and ambiguity, and your ability to identity trends while they are still nascent.

Through these Case Studies, you will learn how you would respond to a real life business situation if that were to happen. So the Case Studies are one of the key strengths of this course, and they have been prepared with and selected with great care. The Case Studies will help you come close to a real life situation.

Based on the choices and decisions you make in the case studies, you will learn much about your own capabilities and your own approach towards people, business, risk, finance and investments, and other aspects of the business.

While many schools offer case studies and they do have participation, the way our program is further unique is that each case study has it’s own set of discussion and Q&A that goes along with it and it’s all recorded under the case study. So if you were to do a case study, you would see a whole range of discussions that have already happened by other participants of the program, and that we believe is a very big learning because it’s not like you are the first person to witness the case, at the same time you also have a learning from the real life perspective of various other people because these are the kind of people you will also see in real life when you do business.

So the Case Study by itself, and the answers by other participants of the course program, are a very insightful combination for you as a business leader because you can see how others are thinking, so that you can learn more, and manage the situation better.

Long Term Benefit: You will also become life long member of the GSBX Alumni Network that will share notes and opportunities.

Therefore, this is a unique aspect of business coaching unlike in most other programs where the knowledge of the previous discussions is lost whereas our system aims to capture the knowledge of every discussion, which is valuable for new people to learn from the experiences of the previous people and other participants with significant business experience. In fact, you may find that your own response/views on a particular case study may change over time as you gain more experience.

Course Fee

$199 USD for a Limited time.
This fee is paid in two parts: $99 (starting) and $100 (after 3 months).

True Market Value: $2,500+

Let’s be completely transparent: The market value of the GSBX EMBA is at least $2,500. If you measure the depth of the 120+ lessons and the 10 real-world case studies, the structural rigor of our ongoing evaluation system (like in a top-tier university), and the physical effort and human hours required to grade your work and give you feedback, $2,500 is the baseline industry standard.

But we refuse to participate in expensive academic pricing. So, we are intentionally keeping the GSBX EMBA fee very low to make this flagship business education accessible to the global youth.

Transparent Roadmap & Future Fee Structure

To reward early adopters while allowing GSBX to scale its human grading infrastructure sustainably, we have established a clear, progressive enrollment roadmap.

Our introductory fee of $199 is a fraction of the course value and is split into two manageable payments: $99 at enrollment, and $100 after 3 months.

As the program establishes its footprint and reputation, and our alumni network expands globally, the pricing will gradually adjust as follows:

Student Enrollment Phase Program Fee (USD) Status / Details
First 200 Students $199 Open & Available (Includes $300 Founder’s Scholarship)
Next 200 Students
(201 to 400)
$299 Upcoming Cohort (Includes $200 Founder’s Scholarship)
Next 100 Students
(401 to 500)
$399 Upcoming Cohort (Includes $100 Founder’s Scholarship)
Next 1,500 Students
(501 to 2000)
$499 Standard Established Fee for Phase 1 & 2
After 2,000 Graduates $999 Final Standard Program Fee (True Value Alignment)

The course fee will gradually rise to its standard fee of $999 (after 2000 students have gruaduated). By that time, the GSBX EMBA course will be well established as leading a high quality online business education program.
